A great example for the youth that True Love really does know how to wait. Asteeg! Sayang, wala pa kasi yung license ko to marry or I would been proud to officiate.

Note: I never said I believed any of these. But since I'm single, I'll enjoy play-bashing couplehood for now. I really do believe that marriage is a gift from God & I believe He is giving me a wife someday that will help prove all these things wrong.

Here's a challenge for any reader of this blog. Rules are simple:
1.) It's open to anyone who's never really had a real encounter/experience with Christ.(ok, even backsliders are welcomed back) Btw, if you think you're already a good enough person or you're completely happy with your life, try it anyway cause you may be wrong. But if you think you're perfect, nevermind. Btw, by thinkin that makes you imperfect.

2.) For 30 days, really try give yourself  to what your getting into. Don't try pretending or fakin it. Really believe because if you don't, you can forget about the challenge.

3.) Be willing to talk faith: putting your pride, egos, personal biases & unbelief down. Seek God & do your best to do so.

4.) Within those 30 days, live the real Christ follower lifestyle starting with the ABCs:
a. Read or listen & try understanding the gospel/good news about Jesus
b. Once that's ok, seriously humbly pray to recieve Christ to become personal Lord & Savior(or what they call the sinners prayer). I'll break it down for you, it's the prayer of opening/surrendering your whole life to Jesus & commiting to Him in faith.
c. Get discipled by a good spiritual mentor, attend bible study, go to Church on Sundays & do your quiet time/devotions daily(or reading of Bible.)
d. Be Real. Engage in living it 24/7!

5.) By the end of a month, I don't guarantee everything to be perfect, but if your life isn't somehow better over-all(emotionally, physically, spiritually, maybe even financially etc.), go ahead back to your old life. The decision is yours.

God is not afraId/insecure for anyone to take this challenge & so am I, so bring it on! If you want to take up this challenge, game on. Let's see it. It doesn't hurt to try, it probably might if you don't.Let me know if you want in.

Here's a must see for all those with BF & GFs & those planning to have one. This has been tried & tested & you see it happening too many times nowadays. So it's time I expose that & share what God put this in me way back then. It's something I just shared with my youth group just last Sunday night.

2.) However Satan hates this idea. The last thing he wants is for two people to be truly happy in love & that it go according to God's plan. He hates relationships that have the potential to be true love and so he will do everything he can to wreck it.

3.) He will use whatever power he has to seperate you. He will try to get you to fight so you can eventually break up, or stir up alot of problems/circumstances that may help end the relationship. He wants the love to end & if he can't, he's got other tricks planned like maybe he can try replace love with lust.

4.) If he can't get the two to seperate, he moves on to his next plan which is make the lover's collide and fall into temptation.

5. When that happens, it could result in a unwanted pregnancy.

6. Now although the couple may end up together still by finding a way out of the problems & soon getting married, theres a big chance that if the couple or one of them is not really ready or up to it(being too young or immature), this next slide will happen, either before & after marriage.

*Satan loves broken familes which is also a part of his wicked plans. He also knows that the poor kid left without a father figure could grow up depressed & miserable, be a part of this cycle or be a potential to becoming the next Hitler or Bin Laden.

7. The good news is this doesn't have to happen if Christ is the center of the relationship. (And btw, it's impossible for Christ to become the center of ones relationship if one isn't into Christ. Satan knows this to, so he loves it when Christians see Non-Christians because it makes his job easier.)

8. If Christ is the center, He will be a very big factor in making this relationship work. Sure, everything may not be perfect, but it's good to know He's there to help. He'll help keep it from falling apart...

9. And He'll help the couple from crashing into each other or avoiding accidents.

10. And then the lovers could live happliy ever after they allowed God's will to prevail rather than Satan's.

I really don't get why girls do this, esp. if the'yre christian. I asked Donita what her say was on fashon+christian modesty & she replied...

"Three simple rules of thumb for dressing decently:

1. don't wear anything that would cause a man/woman to lust after you.
2. would you wear that outfit if Jesus or your parents were standing next to you?
3. don't wear anything you wouldn't want your teenage sister or brother to wear."

Ya, that works. But it seems it needs to be constantly reminded because there are many hard headed. I remember back in the day, when it was the older kuyas/ates who would pass down their clothes to their younger siblings. Nowadays, it seems it's the other way around. It's just sad that nobody seems to care about this issue or they ignore or avoid it. I see to it not in my youth group. Oh, they get word of this all right. I get worried that if this is what kids are wearing these days, what would our kids wear in the future? & would young women have anything left to show just their husbands or have all men seen everything there is to be seen?

I'm looking for a girl who's respectable, respects herself & others enough. The kind that doesn't have to show too much skin to be sexy & yet she doesn't have to look like an old maid either. Meron pa kayang ganon? Must be rare, but that rare is sure worth waiting & searching for. She has to have a good heart cuz in the end, it's not really a fashon issue, but a matter of the heart.

Although this is a late post, let me post it anyway. Transformers rocked! Watched it last last Saturday night with my cousin & his girl. We ended up watching the last full show at 12:40am because the ones before were full. I said since we're already here let's go for it. The wait was definitely worth it. We just had to deal with being puyat on Sunday(which is like a loaded day), still we managed to get through it like we did before. That movie was alot of fun & so I plan to watch again. Sure, the story lines & stuff weren't great, but you wouldn't mind because gosh, the special effects & other things will get you 'wee-ing' like a child again. Yeah, I almost peed my pants! The only thing I didn't like was Optimus Prime's mouth. I just wished it moved up & down rather than it being like a real mouth. Other than that, can't wait for part 2 & 3 & for Care Bears The Movie.

Seminary life is pretty tough, but do-able. So far, so good. I never found myself studying so hard though. I mean, back in college & highschool, the kind of studying I did  during the finals is how I'm doing it now on regular class days! To think I only grabbed a few units is a relief. I remember before, I failed so much, the only reason I passed some tough subjects was because when it came to finals week & I had my back against the wall, that's where I kicked butt. I was thinking of dropping my Hebrew subject but then I got encouraged not to when I did suprisingly well on the last quizzes. Here we have a test every meeting which is 3 times a week. God help me.

I'm feeling pressure all around me. I need to breathe more. Last week, I suffered an insomiac attack that left me sleepless. I finally fell to sleep like 5:30am, got up around 7 for a speaking engagement in Antipolo. I went home right after to try to catch a lil more sleep but still failed to rest & I just lay there awake. Don't really know the cause, if it was the heat that night or too much coffee that day. I wasn't even really thinking too much or being troubled. Was it spiritual attacks? Well alot of things are going on. Aside from being busy with studies(which I'm also paying the tuition at the moment.), church & ministry, radio production, I just became the man of the house since my dad took off for the States last week. He's gonna be there for some months, leaving me with car+electric bills, running errands & driving mom & ate atbp. Phew, how am I gonna do all this? I guess the Lord is showing me once again how His amazing grace works again. Please pray that the Lord grant me pleasure in pressure.

I need to find my way back to the gym again! Once I settle down a bit with this crazy new sked, when the water has cleared a bit, maybe I can squeeze in the gym again & regular basketball too! But lately, it seems I prefer sitting down playing MX vs ATV Unleashed on PC in PGIF.

Wow, I sure feel like I'm torned between alot of lovers but still hopeless romantic. Speaking of love, I found out I can be such a hater/basher of love when single yet I'm such a sucker for it when in a relationship.

Light it Up is gonna be back on July 26 at  Conspiracy Visayas Ave. What's LIU? It's basically a night at a bar where christian artists/bands are featured. We're hoping this to be a regular again every Thurs night so please come support the launch(I'll havehave more details up later). Thanks to Ailene, Ida & friends who I'm working with to get this going again. I just knew this concept was never to be trashed & so I'm excited to see what's up with this soon.
